About Petra
Location: Netherlands
A Little About Me: I have been creative since my teenage years. I did a lot of crocheting and embroidery, and for about the last 10 years, paper crafts have been a big part of my life. I’m a design team member for both the Paper Flowers and the Every Memories teams. It is so much fun to create your own flowers, especially when I color them with my inks. Working in my Memory Binder is a fantastic way to keep all the personal things together that I want to look back on and share with family. It is so much fun to be in two totally different design teams from ECD.
My Favorite Project
Why It’s My Favorite: This spread in my Memory Binder is my favorite because it highlights everything that I like. It has lots of fantastic pictures with lovely people. These pages celebrate the wonderful memories made at a fantastic store where Lisanne (my daughter) did a demo, and I did a make-and-take. We also attended a workshop given by Annette Green at the same store. These two pages just belong together, and I love the color combination so much. Both were made with the fantastic Delightful Discovery collection.
Craft Tip or Must-Have Tool
My Favorite Crafting Tool or Tip: I find it very important for myself that all my basic tools work perfectly. For example, little things like a pair of scissors, tweezers, and glue. But also a Die-Cutting machine that works fine.
A Peek Into My Craft Space
About My Craft Space: My craft room is one of our bedrooms. There is a lot of space for all my supplies. My tools and inks are right in front of me, and when I turn around, I can get straight to my Die-Cutting machine. My desk is also close to the window so the light is perfect. I’m very happy with this space.
