Each flower has been designed for versatility! Build realistic blooms, experiment with different flower styles, and coordinating flower centers, and finish your designs with heartfelt sentiments. The Stitched Ovals even include hanging elements, so you can create beautiful banners to go along with your cards and gifts.

Some great inks to get your creativity started are:

Poppy: Morrocon and Rhubarb Stalk Memento inks create a great effect, but you can use any red and yellow inks that you love to use. (Use the yellow in the centre of the petals to create a blended effect with the reds.)

Blackfoot Daisy: Mustard Seed and Scattered Straw Oxide Inks. Stamp the flower centre stamp with Mustard Seed on top of a centre colored with the Scattered Straw ink. Also use the Scattered Straw up the white petals so you can see a blush of color just above the centre stamens.

Columbine: Typically these flowers are violet or blue, but also range from soft pinks and creams to vibrant reds, yellows, purples, and even near-black! Reach for your favorite colors and create! For violet florals use Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac Oxide Inks. If you wish to create a pink and white floral use Picked Raspberry for the colored pieces on your floral. Any yellow ink is great for the centre stamens.

Sparrow: You can have fun with this bird and use any color you want! It doesn’t have to always be realistic. If you want to create a realistic Sparrow then a mixture of lighter and darker browns, grey and black Oxide inks create a great effect. Make sure to leave some white areas too!
