About Lisanne
Location: Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands
A Little About Me: I’m Lisanne, a crafter from the Netherlands. I started crafting with my grandmother and mother when I was younger. We made cards with stitching and 3D elements (cutting them with scissors). After a few years’ break from crafting, my mother and I started again, making cards and playing with die-cutting. I worked at a Dutch craft store and started working with ECD products. This is when my ECD adventure starts. The first collection I worked with was the Storybook collection, which was so many great releases ago. It is absolutely great to work with the Cute and Whimsical collection and to combine it with other ECD collections.
My Favorite Project
Why It’s My Favorite: Every time I look back at this project, it makes me smile. It was so much fun to make all the small elements to decorate the food trucks and to go in front of them. I love to make scenes with the Cute and Whimsical collection.
Craft Tip or Must-Have Tool
My Favorite Crafting Tool or Tip: It is hard to choose which crafty tip I would share with you, because there are so many. Well, of course, a must-have ECD tool is the fine point tweezers; I just can’t work without them, especially with the Cute and Whimsical collection. My crafty tip for all of you is to move and reorganize your stash so you find some forgotten treasures. I cleaned my desk and did a reorganization. Well, you will understand that I found a lot of ‘oh, did I have that’ stuff that has inspired so many new project ideas.
A Peek Into My Craft Space
About My Craft Space: After a few years of having a whole craft room to play in, I got my own apartment with a smaller place for crafting, but enough space for my craft supplies. You will get creative if you have less space than you had. I really love my storage of ink pads, my Ikea carts, and the boxes I use for the small elements from the Cute and Whimsical collection.
