Sweetheart Girl
Hello everyone, Jackie here with today’s blog post. This year I am creating a series of Sweetheart girl cards all with a dessert theme, I will be using dies from the Cute and Whimsical collection. Today we have the second Sweetheart of the series and she is called Key Lime.
Step One:
Stamp out a splattered background then die cut using the second largest fitted rounded rectangle.
Attach to an A2 card blank using 3d foam pads.
Step Two:
Create a frame using the third smallest dies from both of the rounded rectangle sets. Glue vellum to the reverse side.
Step Three:
Make up the little sweetheart girl as normal and use the arms with the fists.
Step Four:
Use set – 1532 Backyard Barbeque to create the lime wedge. Die cut the solid watermelon die in dark and light green cards; trim the light green piece into four segments that fit inside the darker piece.
Step Five:
Fix the lime wedge to the girl and add her fists on top.
Step Six:
Stamp out and white heat emboss the sentiment to finish.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to have a go at creating your own Sweetheart girl cards.
Happy crafting Jackie x
