About Marije
A Little About Me: My name is Marije van Wouw. I am 53 years old, and I live in Veenendaal, the Netherlands. I live with my husband and our daughter. We share our home with our three cats, Ot, Pluk, and Dap—named after the lovely stories by Annie M.G. Schmidt.
Creativity has always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I loved crafting and working with my hands. As a child, I even made little booklets from Donald Duck chewing gum comics. In 2005, when a Pipoos store opened in Veenendaal, I discovered scrapbooking. That’s when I bought my first die-cutting machine and plotter, and my creative journey really took off.
Over the years, I have explored many creative styles and techniques, including ATC, planner decorating, art journaling, gel printing (gelliplate), and junk journaling. My style is quite versatile—I love everything from bright, cheerful colors to vintage aesthetics.
