Easy Winter Page for Memory Keeping with Ephemera
Are you a crafter who loves creating pages in your binder with a winter feel? Or maybe you’ve always wanted ideas for mixing die-cut elements and ephemera? Join us and learn how to create your own winter pages for your binders documenting winter's special moments. This page uses simple techniques, making it easy to create pages with ideas you can use again and again.
Hello everyone, Petra here with a Memory Binder page using the new Delightful Discovery Collection from Everyday Memories.
Step 1: Cut a base page from die set 2334 from a sheet of designer paper. Then glue a strip of patterned paper over the reinforcement's holes. You can find some strips inside the Delightful Discovery paper pack. You will need to punch new holes. I used a Crop-a-Dile to do this.
Step 2: Most of the elements for this page came from die-set 2340 Seasonal Trees. In this set, you can find this photoframe. Die-cut it twice from cardstock. The cut-out parts can be turned around and used as backgrounds for your photos. Ink all the edges in Distress Ink. I used Frayed Burlap. Print photos to fit the frames, then glue them in place. Now cut the text strip Winter. Die-cut it out of white and black cardstock. From the black one, you only need the letters. Glue the white part on a mat layer and glue the black letters in the spaces. Once the glue dries, glue it onto one of the photoframes and stamp 2026 (or your choice of year) onto the other.
Step 3: Die-cut the tree and snow pieces from Soft Finished Cardstock. Ink the whole tree with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink and edge the snow pieces. Glue all the pieces together.
Top Tip: Play around with coloring mediums and these trees for great results.
Step 4: Next, I cut some ephemera and selected some stamps from the collection to decorate a tag for my page. Once that was done, I glued all the elements for my page together, adding more pieces of ephemera for interest.
I hope this tutorial has inspired you to create a beautiful page in your Memory Binder. Have fun with this fantastic new collection.
