Congratulations to the Newlyweds!
Hello everyone Jackie here today.
As summer arrives then so does the wedding season, so if you are in need of some inspiration for a pretty wedding card then this may by just what you are looking for.
This design has an added mountain fold at the bottom which makes it a little different, it will still fold flat for posting.
Step One:
Cut a cardstock panel to 4.5” x 4.25” (10.4 x 11cm) and score a 1.5” (3.7cm) then turn over and score at 3” (7.4cm) creating a Z folded piece.
Step Two:
Attach the Z folded piece to the bottom of an A2 top folding card blank as shown in the photo below.
Step Three:
Add a strip of patterned paper down the whole front including the folded front piece.
Step Four:
Adhere a pretty lace boarder along with a couple of flourishes leaving the ends free to add some dimension.
Step Five:
Die cut the letters three times, once into cream cardstock then gold and lastly dark blue. Layer them all together leaving a tiny bit of the gold showing under the blue.
Step Six:
Stamp out, die cut then emboss two bees (one small and one large) using gold embossing powder. Stamp out and gold emboss the sentiment strip to finish.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have been inspired to have a go at this pretty wedding card.
Happy crafting!
