Interactive Frame Page for Memory Keeping

Hello, Ellen here from the Everyday Memories Design team. Today I have a tutorial for you : A page with flaps using the brand-new Comfy & Cozy collection.

I used the following pieces from the collection.

Step 1:  I love to distress all my papers, so if you do too, please do, but it is not necessary. I used a light background paper for my square page, so I stamped it in places with black ink and the text stamp.

Step 2: Now you cut the frame dies with the Cozy and Comfy paper pack in the colors you like and that fit your pictures. Glue your biggest picture behind the biggest frame and glue it on the page.

Step 3: Cut two of the smallest frames and score and fold them along the left-hand side to create the flap.

Step 4:  Glue your photos on the back of the photo frames just before the folds. This is important because if you go over the fold, it won’t open and close properly. Now apply glue only to the left edge of your frames where you created the hinge, stack the smaller frame onto the larger one, and then attach them to your main page, making sure to still only add glue to the hinge you created. Now you have a little booklet.

Instead of a photo, you can of course also place text in one of the frames if you want to say something about a photo.

Step 5:  Now you can decorate your page with stamping or other dies just as you like and do not forget some nice Fall reinforcements.
