How to Make an Easy Heart-Shaped Waterfall Card

Hi crafty friends, Betty here with a cute waterfall mouse card for you to make.

Step 1: Cut scalloped and stitched-line hearts, 3 of each, to layer on top of one another. These are the Elizabeth Craft Designs Lace heart and doily die. Set those aside; we will need them a bit later.

Step 2: Cut 2 rectangular pieces of paper measuring 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and another measuring 3 5/8" x 4 7/8". Layer these together and glue. Now set these aside with the hearts for later.

Step 3: Now we will need to cut 2 strips of paper to make the belly band, one will measure 3/4" x 5," and the other one is 2" x 10".

Step 4: Score the 3/4" x 5" strip at 3 1/2" and 1 3/8". Now, on the strip that is 2" x 10", score at 5", 4 3/4", 3 1/2", and 2 3/4".

Step 5: Glue the Belly band (small strip) around the large strip, only glue in the front of the belly band 1/2" down from last score mark, again only glue the front.

Step 6: Now add the hearts to the strip. Start at the bottom first, place the heart right below the score line. Only add glue to the top of the hearts.

Step 7: Place the strip with hearts on the rectangles we cut out earlier. Cut the excess at the bottom away to make it even with the card. Glue the bellyband from your waterfall element onto your rectangle panels.

Step 8: Time to stamp your hearts

Step 9: Now make your card base or use a pre-made one, and glue your mat in place.

Step 10: Now it’s time to decorate your card. I used the cute mice from the Meet the Mice Collection, but you could decorate your this any elements you like.
