11th Day Of Craftsmas!
It’s the 11th day of Craftsmas, and today, we have design team member Reanna sharing how she made a beautiful planner page using the Paper Flowers and Planner Essentials collections.
Hello!
This is Reanna, I am showing you a step by step tutorial for a fun project using the Paper Flower Collection in combination with the Planner Essentials.
I started this project using the gorgeous Joyous Christmas design paper and the popular Postage Stamp Strips. I chose a neutral piece of paper because I am going to add all kinds of items to the stamps later on.
To make the postage stamps I cut small squares to fit on the strip, I used the Joyous Christmas design paper of course and I die-cut the Florals 18 and Florals 19. These two die-sets are perfect to create smaller, flat and fun flowers on any card (or postage stamp). I added ink to the edges of the squares and colored the Florals 18.
I die-cut Florals 19 from Christmas red and green cardstock and stamped text using the Joyous Christmas stamp set. I also used the Festive Season stamp set from the Everyday Elements Collection, as this one has great postage stamp items.
It just looks great when glued down and stamped on!
As you can see I didn't just stamp within the squares, I actually stamped on the whole strip for a playful effect.
Here you see the result of the postage stamp strip!
I wanted to use the postage strip on a planner page. The page is made with the Planner Essentials Frame Page with Gerbera's, the Arrows set, and the base page is from the Base Page with Tickets set. Of course, I used the Joyous Christmas design paper to die-cut and added the poinsettia's Florals 12. It's an older set, but of course, it is still very beautiful!
I hope you like this page. If you are thinking of creating a Christmas flower page (or card), I wish you lots of crafting fun!
Most of all, I hope you enjoy the festive season and make many memories with your loved ones.
With love,
Reanna
