December day-by-day page
Hello everyone, Marjolijn here. Today it's my turn again to show you something at the E.C.D. blog. This time I chose to make a page for my December day-by-day.
In the ECD-ArtjournalSpecials group on Facebook, you can find an overview with "prompts" for your December day by day if you would like to use them. Personally, I pick things up here and there and only use the "prompts" that apply to me. I really like this the prompt "snow globe" so I immediately got to work and created this page.
The blister is from Sizzix, it fits exactly in the iris shutter, so cool. I glued a piece of acetate behind the globe so that the snow stays in place and you can still see through it.
If you slide open the shutter you will see another house appear.
Here is the page from the planner, which always looks a bit calmer. For the houses I used the snow village from the Art journal collection. Lots of houses so that it looks like a village on a mountain. The basic page was made with the summer state of mind set and paper from the "Christmas fields notes" set 12x12". At the bottom I added a row of houses, then I glued the houses onto the Iris shutter page, from top to bottom with the church at the top, of course.
The Christmas wreath that surrounds the globe is also from the Art journal collection. I punched it out 3 times from design paper and processed it around the globe. Then I gave the leaves another layer of green with distress ink and a watercolor brush. I made the date with the numbers from Esther's Postage stamps set.
Look how cute that house is there.
This was my project for today. Hopefully I have inspired you a little.
With love,
Marjolijn.
